The Membership and Joining In Awards signify that a Beaver Scout has made their promise and has participated in the programme for a period of time.

Challenges

The Challenges complement the balanced programme. These have been developed to extend Beaver Scouts' skills and experience.

• The Outdoor Challenge

• The Friendship Challenge

• The Promise Challenge

• The Fitness Challenge

• The Creative Challenge

• The Global Challenge

 Chief Scout Bronze Award

This badge is the highest award available in the Beaver Scout Section. It is gained by completing all of the six Beaver Scout Challenges.

If a Beaver Scout has not quite completed the requirements for the top award before they move on to the Cub Pack, they may complete it during their first weeks in the Pack.

Activity Badges

There are twelve Activity badges specially designed for the Beaver Scout section. These are in addition to the six Staged Activity badges which can be awarded to members of the Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer sections. These are:

• Emergency Aid

• Hikes Away

• Information Technology

• Musician

• Nights Away

• Swimming

Partnership Awards

Additionally there are three awards to be completed in association with other sections of the Group, the Explorer Unit and the Scout Network. These are:

• The International Friendship Award

• The Faith Award

• The Environment Award
